I’m based in Brighton, UK and I’m currently working as a freelance illustrator.
I’ve been designing, drawing and making since I can remember. Although I am currently working as an Illustrator, I’m actually a formally trained jewellery designer.
Fun fact: I ran my own designer jewellery label for six years selling to clients like Harvey Nichols, Selfridges, ASOS and Urban Outfitters before opening my own shop in central London.
Following the birth of my daughter Robin, we shut up shop and moved to Brighton where I returned to my first love: drawing.
Working through branding and marketing concepts is second nature to me following on from my background in fashion. I understand how to create appeal and excitement around products and concepts in various applications.
My current work is mostly illustration based. I am commissioned to create excitement around marketing concepts in the hospitality sector for my main client, Badaboom bars.
I sketch out concepts for brands to set up activations, installations, event spaces and signage, bringing to life these ideas through hand drawn sketches working closely with marketing teams. I’m a pro at making spaces look good, borne from my personal experience setting up pop up shop spaces in Old Street Station, central London and at Glastonbury festival.
I’ve always had a free spirit and like the variety and opportunity that awaits through freelance work.
